Basic Search
This
feature lets you quickly search by name or keywords. Click on the radio
button to indicate a search by name, such as 'Eastman' or 'eastman'. The
search results will be the same regardless of capitalization. Alternately,
click on the radio button to indicate a search by keyword, such as 'party
store'.
Advanced Search
The Local Area Guide Search Area allows detailed searching for local businesses and organizations. There are 4 text boxes to include your search criteria: keywords, name, city and street. These can be used alone or in any combination. Example: You know the company name you're looking for is something plumbing and heating and you know the street and/or city for their location. Enter plumbing heating in the name search and the city and/or street in their respective search areas to limit your results.
In addition you can indicate in any combination what areas your search criteria will return results from. Example: Enter auto for keywords and leave only the events check box checked to return results containing events pertaining to autos.
The keywords text box allows entering search criteria for products, services, business type, subject of events, coupons etc. We've also provided you with keyword suggestions.
The name text box is for searching a business or organization name. Example: You might enter Apex to look up Apex Industrial Products Inc.
The city text box is for narrowing any search to a specific city.
The street text box is for narrowing any search to a specific street.
