- Tall Ship Celebration, August
The Celebration takes place in Bay City's extensive
park system spanning both banks of the Saginaw River. To compliment ship
tours of the Appledores IV & V, guests will enjoy a number of free, hands-on activities and full
schedule of special events and live performances including a Folk Music
Festival, Professional Storytellers, live theater performances, a French
Voyageur Reenactment camp with demonstrations, a Craft Show, a Fine Art
Show, roaming clowns featuring balloon art, tours of the Historical Museum's
new Maritime Gallery, and other activities.
